We have a CFX-750 that is omnistar and RTK unlocked, mounted in our main tillage tractor with EZ-PILOT. And we have a 500 on WAAS in our fertiliser spreader tractor. The 750 gets its corrections through a modem from a local network.

Now my brother was wondering what would happen if you put just the 750 in the spreader tractor? In other words how accurate is it without it's corrections? I was told my 750 will use RTX for a while if it was to lose it cell signal.

TIA, Dennis

The antenna that came with the 500 is the same AG-25 that came with the 750.

As soon as you get your 750 away from it's modem... it's going to have to be switched to WAAS because the stuff that feeds it RTK will not be around.

What we usually suggest is to move your expensive parts and just get the peripheral items (your antenna cable, antenna mounting plate, RAM ball mount and the bottom power cable for your 750)
