Ed, Our I-H 1066 came out with 2 - 6 volt batteries, two years ago I switched it to 2 - 12 volt had to put some new cables on any way they needed replacing seems to start better haven t had a any problems the new 12 volt batteries , they were 3 /4 of an inch shorter was the only thing I see different .
