Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Some years back, I put in two group 31 "stud post" batteries , into a JD 4440 and installed stud nuts(common on semi trucks) and also install stud nut covers, too (common on semi-trucks) and the top JD battery covers still fit fine. (I do feel more comfortable with the positive posts/stud nuts covered, so I don't arc anything)
