This is the company line that I heard at pp's summer conference.  The agleader version is very accurate at field totals.  What Sauders wanted was higher resolution.  Agleader would tend to over report in light grain and under report in very heavy grain.  It's because you are throwing grain at a plate.  PP is weighing the grain as it passes by the sensor.  The higher the load, the more it pushes in the "scale".

The thing that I would really like as much a anything is the fieldview part.  Having your yield maps with you all the time at the push of a button.  No more computer programs.  Just harvest, grab the Ipad and you have your maps with you.  You can also run split screen, having harvest on one half and planting maps on the other half.  So you could see maybe why a part was yielding poorly was related to a planting condition.   I hope the 88 series CaseIH are on the agenda, as I'm not getting a new combine anytime soon.

Most of the inaccuracy with a agleader ym is usually due to the lack of time taken in calibrating or not doing it correctly. Precision also basically targeted the lazy farmer that didn't take the time need to accurately calibrate a ym right. I know I'm going to catch it for saying that but it's the truth. If the monitors are both calibrated right they will both be very close in accuracy. I've been within 1.5 percent on 600 plus acres of corn for the last three yrs now with a ag leader system.that is monitor vs scale vs elevator bushels hauled in. I'm not sticking up or bashing either company either. I sell both. Pp has some more neat options with the iPad also but I don't like having 3 screens in a combine though. Just my opinion guys so take it for what it's worth.
