I agree w/most so far. I always try to "slow down" in steps prior to lift/turn maneuver, then speed back up in steps after turn maneuver. Seems much more natural. For instance, if you're traveling 6.0 mph thru the field, then slow to 5.5 about 50' out, then 5.0 about 30' out, then set 4.5 for the turn maneuver. Then, do the opposite after you've completed the turn. Anyway, that's how I like to do it.
