Midwest | The name part is easy, you can have as many names and different ways they're organized as you want. The big detail becomes boundaries since it doesn't sound like you need to send any other data back out to the monitor except maybe guidance lines. Do you need the boundaries for any sort of shut off systems on the planter, sprayer, etc? If so, you'll need those good boundaries under any of the fields those operators will use. If you don't NEED the boundaries for something like that, I'd just hand draw the big one since you have the small ones and when you save the new one save it to your new field name. Then you have the originals as they were, and a new larger one.
If you need something more accurate than hand-drawing, you'll want to start copying from those other layers and merging those objects or leave them as multiple polygons depending on which monitor(s) you're exporting to... |
