| Hello,
I'm using SMS Basic. Approximate 4 growers, several farms, and a ton of fields. Some of the farms have 8 to 17 fields. I would like to group several fields together and make it show up as a new field on the SMS Management Tree.
Here is my example:
Grower: John Smith
Farm: Bob Collins
Fields: bc75ne, bc25nw, bc50sw, bc50se
bc=Bob Collins, 75=acres, sw or nw= southwest or northwest
Ok, what I would like to do is group all of those field(s) into one field called bc200. The 200 comes from adding 75+25+50+50=200.
So if all field(s) are planted in the same crop, same fertilizer prescription, spraying formula, etc. it can be selected by one field.
I have mapped all of the fields individually. They all have a separate name. I don't want to have to go back to multiple farms and re-map them with say 'land bridges' so there can be one field name for several fields.
Does this make sense?
I can't get the management tree to make the 'one' field like I want.
I have watched a lot of the videos on youtube... but not the one that exactly describes what I'm trying to do.
I have to export all of these fields to several monitors (several different manufacturers too) I hope they will import them with the four individual fields and the 'group' field too.
Please help.
