Southwestern Indiana | Have bought and sold contracts before (at a gain) but always with at least having had the intent to deliver. Never naked. Would anyone care to enlighten me as to how, hypothetically, to do this on a larger (more than could possibly deliver) scale? For now I'm just assuming selling Dec '14 Corn contracts sometime prior to harvest to local elevator, and other large scale, unsold farming friends and relatives?
