I look at it differently. When I say peak, I mean ability to work 140 hour weeks, without getting hurt and still able to make intelligent decisions. I don't mean my income earning ability. I won't peak there for many years yet. I'm not talking about a farmer who worked off the farm and his kids aren't ready to farm. I'm talking about guys who farmed for 50 years, have plenty of money, but don't want to let junior make any decisions, because they're too dang selfish.

If you've only farmed 3 years full time, how could you possibly be ready to turn some over to your kids?
