I don't think those of you with "your old man bitching at you all the time" understand what a conveinece it is to be able to rent his stuff or just plain old use it is worth to you.


I get that. I've also figured out that not every family works well together, and things aren't always easy on that side of things either. Some do, but a lot don't.

I've been pretty envious of my friends who are working into very profitable operation, that is already very well equipped with a land base and equipment. Meanwhile, I get to buy every little specialize piece of equipment I need, no borrowing or leasing from the family.

Then, they tell me how envious they are of me, and my little operation, and that I'm only accountable to myself. I don't have to run everything by Dad first, or justify a three day vacation.

The grass is always greener on the other side I guess.
