NEIN | Pofarmer you are spot on. The consolidation trend will continue and there is no need for any new farmers. The ground from the ones that retire will easily be gobbled up by the few who are currently large enough to be viable until that time. Many more will just fade away as they will not have large profits from small acreages. It would be wise to discourage anyone starting in production agriculture unless it is by working for one of the large conglomerates in a management position. WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE FARMERS! | |
