I dont think the farm population is any older than the general public. Look at ceo's, corporate boards, higher management. These are not dominated by 20 and 30 somethings. Changes and retirements are always going on in every industry. No 20 something person is going to have any easier time starting a farm by themselves than they would starting any other business.
