The only Shape Pro I am familiar with is from AGPS. Shape Pro is a combination of Shape Office for design and Dirt Pro for automatic machine control on a dozer or scraper. Shape office is used to design for land leveling, lagoons , building sites and such. The combination lists for $10,500. That does not include computer or machine control interfaces. It runs on Windows based computers. For machine control, it requires 2 serial ports. I do not like USB to serial adapters on the machine control side as they can have some issues with coming loose. GK Technologies Ag Data Mapping Solution drainage package sells for $2200. This does not include any machine control abilities, it is design only. For machine control for ditching, you could use AGPS Ditch Pro. For tiling either AGPS Pipe FM or Pipe Pro.

I see a vehicle dock with port replicator for tougbook that has dual serial ports. Would that work? How are the serial ports utilized?
