We have it all on one meter because we dropped the reduced rate for the heat pump. We did that because we did not like the way they regualted it. Our utility company is Benco Electric and they were shutting us off for 4 to 5 hours at a time and in the summer it would get very hot on our second floor. We built in 2001 and have always been geo. It is an open loop pump and dump system, which I was told would be the most efficient of the geo systems. We are seriously considering going to natural gas.
