North Central Kansas | Dad had a 1963 JD LZ 1010 hoe drill he bought new and used up till 2011. That fall we parked it in the trees. The links and the chains and.... were just getting to worn.
I think.... in good loose soil the hoe is the better option.
If the ground is a little firm, your double disk might be a better way.
however....
are we talking no till, mini till, or good old fashioned get the disk out till | |
