Lorenzo, tx
I have the fmd on my 8210 had it going on 3 years and it's never been right. It still isn't right never would line up right repeat right it seems like everything that could be wrong with it was. The dealer got tired of working on it and told me the solution was to upgrade it to a fmx. Well I bought an 8110 this winter and put a fmx on it and the first time I go to the field with it it doesn't wanna work either. I know Trimble has far superior guidance but if it doesn't work it doesn't do me any good. At least with Deere if it didn't work they would eventually try to make it right this dealer is just kinda washing there hands of the mess. The trade difference is what's killing me to go to Deere it's just so much more expensive for what you get. I'm very familiar with Deere as it's what we originally started with when we stepped into the GPS world and still have it on the sprayer due to swath control. So it wouldn't be a big deal for me to switch.
