You will find that the 2600 & 2630 are a little harder to use compared to the Trimble displays, unless you been around the Deere displays a long time! If you already have the Trimble displays, I'd just put the Trimble steering valves on and hoses and be done. A Deere dealer will tell you they have to pull the cab to run the hoses and such for the steering, where-as with Trimble, you can actually route the hoses under the cab pretty simply and tie them onto the Orbital and Steering cylinder. FYI, personally, I'd find a spot on the back of the tractor to mount the valve. The book calls for mounting the valve on the front right frame rail, just in front of the exhaust. I've seen on some tractors, especially on the smaller 8000 series, that the right wheel may hit the valve when turning short.

And like you said, you already have the Field-IQ, so why try to switch everything over to the Deere Rate Controller!
