The black sand beaches of Jamaica, IL | I don't have the answer to your question but have you considered using an ontrac 2+ in that setup? With a geosteer the ot2+ will be about half the price of a hydraulic valve and can be more easily moved into another vehicle. Got an ot2+ to use with geosteer in the combine this fall and was impressed with the performance, not quite as good as the valve but I think it would be very good for planting as long as you're not concerned about staying dead center on a strip.
