Subject: Using Trimble platform kit in place of a Deere steering valve?

Lorenzo, tx
Can a 2600 or 2630 use a platform kit from an fmx and fmd in place of a Deere steering valve? I have Trimble right now on an 8110 and 8210 and am wanting to put Deere guidance on it but the steering valves are 8k a piece installed. Is that a mess waiting to happen? If I traded my fmd and fmx for 2 Deere 2630s and two steering valves right now my trade difference would be $42000. I've already got one system paid for and the other has field iq and is my spray controller so I would be looking at having to buy a separate controller or add to one of the Deere systems. I feel like I'm having to completely start over buying systems that I already have paid for.
