ECIN | The dealer is correct. Sometimes the NavII mounting locations make it difficult to get a phillips screwdriver in to remove the unit. You will also want to find the correct size allen wrench to remove the two NavII cables from the back. Once you find the right size, buy one to put in each of the vehicles you will be transferring between. If you need to transfer often, it might be worth the time to weld some wingbolts to the tops of the phillips machine screws that hold the NavII, then you can ditch the screwdriver altogether!
Make sure that you save and backup your vehicle profiles to the display and an external memory device (especially after a recalibration). It is quite disappointing to get everything switched back and forth, only to realize that you did not save your last calibrated and tweaked profile. | |
