Back in 2000 we bought and tested one of the first year Trimble AP for repeatability. After confirming that we bought a planter without markers. We never looked back again and never wished we had markers.
14 years later we are still using the original AB lines without nudging and more often than not when we dig up seed to check stands we are on top of last years row remnants.
