The mark III uses rawson rs-232 protocol. Where is the connections you said was on the back of the 700 display? I didn't see anything on the back?

There are two connectors on the back of the 700. One is the main connector used for power, CAN, 2 video inputs, etc. It's a 26-pin Amp connector, and it has 1 RS232 port integrated (pins 9 and 10). The other port on the back of the 700 is a DE9 connector (what everyone thinks of as a standard serial connector). It's under a rubber flap on the left side of the back side of the display as you look at the back. Either RS232 port can be used, as they are functionally identical. For either, you will need a breakout cable that grounds the connections. If the 700 is already installed and powered, use 87732647. If you need a harness that will power the 700 as well as breaking out the serial ports, use 84169716. With either of these, you'll also use a standard serial cable to complete the connection to the Mark III. If the Mark III uses Rawson comms, then it will probably work with the 700, though it would be officially unsupported.

Your dealer can get you a copy of the Rawson Control ops manual for the Pro 600/700, which will tell you how to set things up (though it will assume you have a Rawson AccuRate controller).
