Subject: RE: reviews for outback guidance w/auto steer

Southern Saskatchewan
My supplier does Trimble and Outback. My preference is outback. I run multiple S3 systems and really have no complaints. Used to do everything myself but now my tech is great and trouble shoots any little problem if I can't figure it out. For cereals WASS will do fine. I have an edrive X on the seeder and love it. The X is very precise at least for what we need. We overlap one seed row and it does the job in hills also. Just the edrive box with tilt compensation will not perform as good as the X but still sufficient. Accurate to 6-8". For the mapping on/off all you need is a run/hold wire that hooks in. Never used the STX consul but I'm sure it would be fine with the edrive box.
