Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I strongly agree with putting the basic equipment in another vehicle temporarily to play with it. You will then be able to ask intelligent questions and/or the suggestions given will make more sense to you.
It always used to scare me when the customer had so much faith in the situation that they would fill up the planter or sprayer and expect everything to work properly the first day out. No questions often results in a less than ideal result. I always felt better when the customer was mildly "suspicious" and asked questions that showed they had been thinking about the process.
Having at least a basic idea of how things are supposed to work can be very helpful. A good dealer who has people who have done it before can be invaluable. Always be a bit suspicious and double check your usage of chemical, seed, acres accumulated etc.
