farmland indiana | First thing I would do is install the bolts back into the inside wedge than start the bolts in the outside wedge a couple threads. Than what I do is tap on the bolt heads to push the wedge in as far as it can go and not fall out. If the pinion bolt is frooze than what I do is install long bolts in to the inside wedge and knock it loose. By using the longer bolt you will not fight it as much when installing it back. Leave the pinion bolt on tops and lower your jack it will give you enough room to free up the pinion bolt with a impact. Just make sure the gear is not hitting the rack. You should be able to see it with a light. Once it is free Jack the tractor back up and tight inside wedge and adjust the rim to where you want it. | |
