Texas
Any tips on getting it back together? I took both wedges completely off and cleaned and greased them. Now I can't get it aligned to get bolts started. I am guessing I want to put the gear on top and put the keyed wedge on first? It would not be so hard if it wasn't for the cast weight on the inside of the wheel pulling it crooked and the fact that I do not have any help and am doing this by myself. Spent 6 hours on this one tire already. I am no pro mechanic but I have worked on all kinds of things from lawn mowers to atvs to motorcycles to cars to big rigs to heavy machinery and this has to be one of the biggest pain in the butt jobs I have had to fool with.
