roaming | Apex will not read files from the Pro 700. You could read the data into SMS or another compatible software program, then export the data as Shapefiles, then read those into Apex, and then export variety files to your 2600 for the combine.
OR (the easier solution) would be to continue doing what you're doing, using the 2600 to record as-planted maps in the spring, then read that data into Apex and export your variety maps for fall. In this scenario, nothing changes except that you have a difference AFS display in the cab.
