NENebraska | Just need to know if I can get this to work come harvest time.
For the last 2 years we have run a CIH 1200 planter with a Universal Display pulled by a Magnum 275. We have run guidance with a JD 2600 and ATU, Starfire 3000 receiver and SF2. I have a whisker switch mounted on the planter to make coverage maps on the 2600 so I can make as planted maps for variety locator files when we harvest. We move the 2600 to our JD 9660 and record harvest data and that way we can enable variety locator.
This spring we are upgrading the Universal Display with a Pro 700 so we can do prescription planting. The tractor is guidance ready so I am getting the ISO harness and receiver so my tractor will be all set up and I can eliminate the 2600 monitor cluttering up the cab during planting. I dont have any experience with the Pro 700 yet and need to know if I can take as planted data and make variety locator files in APEX so they show up in my 2600 display at harvest. | |
