Like Badger said, make sure all you switches are on. You don't need a field open. I've also forgot to open the tank valve the first try of the year and blamed the electronics until the truth came out. Apparently I do some boneheaded things.
You're not alone. I've forgot to turn the pump on! You must be stopped 1st, then flip to manual with the booms on. I've had to play with it too. Off/on 1 boom only then more. I've always thought the main point was how you hold your tongue. LOL
