Doing a little digging today, the internet says that a cow can suck down a pound of salt per day, so I am thinking that if I mix 2 pounds distillers to one pound salt it might be a place to start. Probably have to keep an eye on it for a few days to make sure they aren't getting too much. I like the ease of protein tubs but don't like the price. Also need to make sure the creek hole doesn't freeze over.
Does anybody make DDG/Salt/Mineral homemade protein tubs?
