| I wouldn’t get my hopes up too much. Over the last several years I sat in on 2 different Apex focus groups and found them a big waste of time, so go to this meeting with very low expectations. The moderators seem to listen, take notes, and want to make needed changes then, after the meeting their bosses or the corporate structure put a stop to any good ideas.
For example, a needed feature in Apex is the ability to export out yield data to “Yield Editor” http://www.ars.usda.gov/services/software/download.htm?softwareid=2... (or build into Apex a feature similar to this) for yield map data cleaning. John Deere is very aware of the need to clean errors out of the yield maps (instead of reversing the way yield points are displayed to make it “look better”), and at the meeting agreed this was needed. Never happened…and that was 2 years ago. Look at it as a free vacation … for me I’ll go someplace warm.
