south east SD | I was told last Friday from John Deere Ins that they were dropping Apex in a couple of years and going to a more cloud system! You can't get phone support anymore. Was at a meeting with my crop Insurance who was going to use Deere and the Company I have been using. They are looking to the future where you can use your maps from ( in my case a 2630 ) to get acres from the planter and yields from the combine. They said now your acres don't have to match your ASCS office, it was in the new farm bill. I do see some problems coming up with Deere getting big into crop insurance.
