ParaDyme is a receiver and steering controller in one like Trimbleguy said. It can receive RTK, Omnistar, and other correction signals to do those jobs. RTX is another signal source (that it can't receive as far as I know)

ParaDyme is something you hold in your hands and mount on the roof of something. RTX is a correction signal you can't see or touch. (same with RTK, Omni, etc)
