It has an overhang off the front so it's comfortable without a toe kick.

I was going to build the bench over top of them and leave them on casters so I could roll them out to clean but it was going to be to tall.

I don't need to to use this for any heavy work as you can see in the pictures that I have a stout, 4' x 11' x 3" thick, welding table... If I break that thing I quit!

It's a little late to raise it up easily as well so it's going to sit the way it is. But the bottoms of these cabinets are not flat and don't sit directly on the concrete. They have a rolled edge and channel iron supports where the casters bolted on.

My local fab guy is bending some SS sheets to cover to top and it will have a backsplash bent into it.
