Let's say they sell nearby cargo at a dollar a bushel loss and buy a deferred June cargo out of S.A. at a price cheap enough to cover the dollar loss plus. It all depends upon futures plus basis plus freight differentials for nearby ship cargoes vs deferred ship cargoes. | |
