Earth | Have a look in the GPS Status screen (in advanced mode go to Status->GPS Status) & see what the Position Rate is. If it says 1 Hz, that will explain why you are only getting 1 Hz GGA & VTG updates, even though you have them set to 5 Hz. To fix this, power the EZ-Guide 500 down, then power it back up while you are holding the 2 top left (I & II) buttons down, This will cause the GPS position update rate to be reset to 5 Hz. | |
