I do not see how it could be possible.

It is very possible that he doesn't have his radar calibrated correctly, however.

My next step, if I actually cared about making the display read correctly, would be to measure off a significant distance (couple thousand feet) and calibrate the tractor.

One more thing....is the tractor really running off of the radar, or does he have it locked to the transmission sensor? Something I have worked on allowed you to choose which speed source you used. Do not remember if it was Deere, CIH, Cat, or CatNH but it would have had to be one of those, or possibly JCB but I doubt that one.
