SE Idaho
We run an all liquid starter program. Here is our fertilizer banding set up. Not quite the right width in the photo as we changed drills last minute last spring (24ft to 30ft) and had to get wider to accommodate. We are in the process of widening our bander out right now in the shop. We are set on 6" row spacing for the bander and drill. Placement is around 2" in the ground through tubes welded to the back of s-tines. We use a John Blue piston pump driven hydraulically controlled though our Trimble FMX. This spring we are going variable rate fert so it will be interesting to watch. We have soil types that vary from blow sand to heavy loam all in the same fields.
