+1 on stuck comment. Wind also caused issues whether they were running or not. Did not like to walk with wind as they would drift out of alignment. Had to tie down in the winter and could not move them without water running to work the ground under them. Neat to see 70 psi running through them back in the good water days. Have a 11 tower that just sits in the corner now. Used to have a couple of them. The old hydromatics were also neat to watch run. I think that was the brand that had a spinner with about four wands with nozzles on the end that the water pressure forced the spinner to turn thus moving the sprinkler.
