Mixing dry and seed would work if you get it perfectly blended, key word: perfectly. Vibration of the drill may cause issues with heavier fertilizer and the lighter seed separating causing patchiness in the field.

We have liquid on our GP 3S-3000 with a John Blue piston pump run off of the seed drive.
