I like Midwest labs.

A week or so before i plan to spread fertilizer I'll send the whole above ground plant in. Call Midwest labs if you have any questions.

They have special bags you can get. I used the paper bags my mother swiped from the freezer section of Walmart..

Cut, and then get sent off where it will make it to Midwest next day. I like to pull on a Monday-Tuesday so I get the samples before end of week.

I'll pull just the flag leaf when I top dress the final time and before the wheat turns as a final to help me figure out next year better.

Wheat and corn is more fun as you get to tweak the crop throughout the year. Beans arent as fun as it's a plan for next time deal.
