for accurate year-to-year repeatabiilty WAAS may not be the system of choice. Omnistar XP/HP or RTK with a well-maintained fixed RTK base station can provide the year to year accuracy for your waterways and field boundaries. RTK with a portable station might introduce errors if the RTK reference station is not placed exactly on the same spot with the same base station coordinates in the receiver.
