When I got a heat houser and a blade to fit on the NRG loader on the DC I thought I was in hog heaven pushing snow. Now with Cab, radio and a hot thermos of coffee I'm less than thrilled. Oh to enjoy the simple pleasures of youth.

I can say I know exactly how you feel. 30 years ago I spent many hours plowing snow with a F10 and scoop on a DC. Salt bags covering the radiator, roofing steel sheets on the sides of engine, and makeshift cab with slide-in plastic windows cut down on the wind chill. Tractor was plugged into headbolt heater.

At -20, the hand crank started the tractor better than the 6V starter. Always crank in quarter strokes from 9 - 12 o'clock position or you'd be lucky if the tractor only jerked the crank out of your hand.

Didn't think much of it back then and didn't have much other choice. Nowdays it would finish me off pretty quick.
