Renville Minnesota
If you value your employee,
Sit down with him and talk about it.

Have a piece of paper which states if he continues his risky behavior, his actions will be considered self terminating in relation to his employment. This means he will have no chance at unemployment.

You have to look out for your business, and that includes keeping him employed...... unless he cannot perform, then he needs to find other employment. I'd swag he wants to work for you, and do a great job..... but maybe he needs to slow down and think instead of. "Just do it".

This is a mutual deal.

On another note, if your farm is on the brink of being lost due to an employee's mistake, you need to sit down with a GOOD insurance man. If you think your insurance man is ok, get rid of him and get a GOOD one ASAP.

Sorry for this experience, though maybe its a blessing in disguise. Best wishes.
