Maybe a lightsport aircraft would be a more efficient way to take photos. If you farm several fields in a spread out area you could take off with a airplane and scout all you fields in a short time.
For what some of these "UAS" or "UAV" or "DRONES" are bringing you can buy and maintain a lightsport. I'd rather be up in the air myself because it sounds more fun but "unmanned" is the in thing now.
