Here's the deal, if set up properly, Section Control (a.k.a Swath Control Pro on a 2600) does a far better job at shutting off the sections than the operator doing it manually. What if he's not paying attention and "forgets" until he's a full sprayer (just as an example) width into the end rows? Section control runs off your previously covered area, so as I said, if set up properly, it would shut off when you cross into those end rows on its own. That is the biggest benefit. This in turn would save you seed or product that you're applying.
