The mx 240 hydraulic kit will work fine you won't need to make any hoses or any extra fittings. The 305 is not any different than the older 8870 NH and we have don a couple with the mx kit. If it would happen to have a raven valve just take it out and put a compact valve in its place. Only 2 adapters needed to do that.
