Yes you can manually control up to 10 sections on a sprayer (I think, I'm a little rusty on my info) with the rate controller. They will show up on the 2600 and are controlled by on screen buttons. A stand alone switchbox can also be added. A section control activation is not required for any of this, However, you can add one at any point in the future and you will be ready to run automatically.
