I understand the typical variable rate fertilizer spreaders change the apron speed with a hydraulic motor.
Does anyone know how to variable rate 3 pt spinner spreader using a sliding gate? I keep coming back to using a linear potentiometer on a cylinder position to send back differing voltage levels for position. How does one convert this to different pulse or frequency rate used by typical variable rate controller?
