There's a new"iPad compatible" receiver accurate to 1/2 meter.

The Yuma 2 is a great unit but the price is up there.. it does have a 1-2 meter or 2-4 meter accuracy depending on which unit was purchased. the Ipad could be off as much as 30 meters unless you are using an external bluetooth gps. Trimble does offer some smaller handhelds that could be used with an external gps such as the Juno T41 that is in the neighborhood of $1500. We do a lot of scouting using a Nomad and Hemisphere A100 to give us better accuracy than what the internal is capable of. Doing some field trials we just did not have good luck using the Connected Farm Scout app with an Ipad..
